Anti-Firefox
Firefox is the browser of bitches that complain about their internet experience and slow download speeds on AOL. Every person that I’ve ever talked to about Firefox says it is like the best thing since sliced pizza but this is a LIE. Firefox is for the unbeliever and foolish hearted. The Bible says that in the end of days that people will be covered by a dark cloud of deception. I have uncovered the deception and am here to declare the truth, that Firefox sucks hardcore. The truth will set you free.

If you love Internet Explorer as much as I do, show your spirit of love toward the best browser in the world.
Microsoft makes the standards and anything that does not live up to those standards is not worthy to live at all. Firefox is a self-righteous piece of shit targeted toward the easily manipulated populations of the world – the poorest of poor.

April 14th, 2006 at 9:18 am
Bill Gates makes standards… for sucking!
April 14th, 2006 at 9:57 am
Is that why you use Windows?
April 17th, 2006 at 1:44 am
Indeed firefox doesn’t have features of IE.
But did you try to add extensions to it?
I was able to make it look and function like Opera.
Also there is one extension that opens pages in firefox with
IE engine.
Firefox is the most customizable browser I ever saw.
and all extensions are free and updated regularly.
That’s why is the best.
May 4th, 2006 at 1:00 pm
I Just dont know.. when I used FireFox I feel Comfortable.. when Im using IE I am really annoyed… I Just dont know why?…
June 13th, 2006 at 2:45 pm
Firefox rules Chaka….IE is the Devil and renders shit sloppy. The only reason you like it is because you can be lazy in your web coding!!!
June 13th, 2006 at 3:42 pm
Wow that is got to be the stupidest thing I ever heard.
September 14th, 2006 at 9:28 pm
You’re a dumbass, straight up.
just USE firefox and you’ll notice why it kicks the shit out of IE.
IE is so useless, and couldn’t render HTML if it’s life depended on it.
September 14th, 2006 at 9:53 pm
Amatureville.
September 14th, 2006 at 9:54 pm
Don’t blame IE because your life sucks.
September 15th, 2006 at 6:16 am
You don’t actually want a discussion do you? Nevertheless:
IE has the worst rendering engine available today. My cellphone is more standards-compliant. Seriously.
Why does this matter? Standards are vital to the web – designers need to know that if they stick to defined standards, declaring them on the page, their users will have an all-but-identical experience, no matter what browser they use.
IE takes that idea, bends it over and does unspeakable things to it.
How can you possibly argue that this is a good thing?
September 15th, 2006 at 6:28 am
What I don’t want is lies and falsehoods.
Firefox is a lie and a falsehood.
You claim that IE renders html incorrectly, ha!
The truth is that Firefox has blinded your eyes and you can’t judge accurately how html should really be rendered.
Finally, IE is a standard in itself.. Firefox is not.
September 15th, 2006 at 6:37 am
Your hate toward IE only feeds me.
October 6th, 2006 at 2:16 am
Die hippies die!. Kick that Fox dude
November 17th, 2006 at 3:32 am
Have anyone here test Opera, its simply the best internet experience!
December 7th, 2006 at 4:28 pm
LOL @ this site.
Opera FTW~!!!
February 11th, 2008 at 9:45 pm
Anyone know of a program that i can use to keep firefox off a computer? im a student tech from a school district and im looking into something that won’t get past the proxys that the school has set.
So if you know of any program that does not allow firefox to run please tell me. (we set our server so it won’t allow firefox.exe to run but oviously they can simply rename the .exe and run it, and it will be ok to run.)
I was more looking for a program that delete’s a .dll that firefox needs to run. if you know of a program that will delete an .dll when installed or won’t allow it on the computer period. leave a post here and ill read it up in a day or so.
Thanks ahead of time!
May 3rd, 2008 at 8:19 am
Nathan… you are so STUPID.
May 3rd, 2008 at 5:45 pm
Don’t take your frustrations out on me. You’re failure as a human being is evident. If you want to make your parents proud and in doing so redeem yourself, you should consider bringing Internet Explorer home to them. They will embrace you as their prodigal son. Where you were dirty in the ways of this world through the whoring of yourself out to FireFox, you can now find in Internet Explorer the redemption you have been searching for all your life. Today, if you hear the voice of Internet Explorer calling out to you don’t harden your heart.
May 4th, 2008 at 3:34 am
hi nathan i love ur work and i’m from india….keep rockin dude…we love u in india!
May 6th, 2008 at 9:20 am
dude did u attend college?
May 7th, 2008 at 11:08 pm
I attended college. Maybe if you had attended you would have left your ignorant ways behind you and embraced Internet Explorer.
May 8th, 2008 at 6:13 am
what love IE dude…especially IE 7…what gave u the impression that i didn like IE….i am a huge microsoft fan….!
May 8th, 2008 at 8:32 pm
Just testing where your loyalties lie.
May 9th, 2008 at 12:57 am
heha….man….nice trick…u know it’s so lame for ppl thrashing microsoft just for the sake of it….i hate that!
May 17th, 2008 at 1:21 am
firefox does suck when it comes to styling with css. You can’t color scrollbars! You can’t add styles to images! It sucks!
June 8th, 2008 at 7:39 am
Internet Explorer is the single worst software that has been made and become popular. Firefox is multiple times faster and safer. Nathan, I can see why you picked a Nazi picture for your avatar. Also, joe, sharad, and Furey, it’s nice that you chose to flush your life down the drain. Good luck in life and stop sniffing glue.
June 9th, 2008 at 12:17 am
@randomness:
That’s not a nazi avatar it is a US WWII poster! You need to go back to school and get a degree in IE. You’re such a hippy!
July 5th, 2008 at 8:37 am
Yeah, IE (originally “Internet Exploder”) rules in the following points:
- largest security holes EVER!!!
- hidden and unnoticable spyware intrusions
- lots of backdoor exploits for malware/spyware/trojans
- damaging RAM
- worst security
- worst handling
- frequent crashes
- great slogan: “Internet Explorer – share your secrets to the world”
Enough said. I’m outta here and by the way … yes IE users are the best and really 1337 *sneer*

Yeah, IE (originally “Internet Exploder”) rules in the following points:
- largest security holes EVER!!! ## Prove it, every single serious business use IE and noone had security problems just cause of IE
- hidden and unnoticable spyware intrusions ## Not with default settings, you fail.
- lots of backdoor exploits for malware/spyware/trojans ## Redundant with first point, fail again, 1 life left.
- damaging RAM ## Stupidest thing anyone ever said on the whole internets
- worst security ## Again redundant with #1, game over you have to start again from level 1 and suck the billionaire dick of the mozilla CEO (Yes the one thats earning millions from a piece of software he didn’t financed, COMMUNITY MAKE THE WORK FOR FREE)
- worst handling ## ?
- frequent crashes ## Maybe on your mom HP Pavillion 300$ crowded with bestiality porn dialers
- great slogan: “Internet Explorer – share your secrets to the world” ## You suck at humor
Enough said. I’m outta here and by the way … yes IE users are the best and really 1337 *sneer*
## No but Mozilla fans are as stupid as the Apple fanboys, they give you crippled shit that was created by stealing every concurrent ideas and tell you to spread it to everyone.
Think different, think suicide, please.
July 21st, 2008 at 7:58 am
Err… Do You Have Any Proof To Back Up Your Statement Of IE Being Better Than FireFox?
If Not, Then Quit Being A Faggot And Do Something Better With Your Life Then Horribly Troll The Greatest Browser In The Known Universe, Thank You.

July 22nd, 2008 at 12:04 am
^ nailed it. Back up your claims or you will be assumed moronic. IF you can give unbiased answers to back up your claims of firefox’s inferiority and IE’s superiority, then I will consider you to be an intelligent human being with an opinion, else, you’re full of shit.
TO BACK UP MY CLAIMS THAT FIREFOX IS GOOD:
– Addons – features IE is way behind on are available this way.
– Themes – I like my browser looking half decent, this does that
– ACID3 CSS scores – for compliance with this, Firefox 3 is superior to -every- other browser available.
– ACID2 CSS scores – every browser EXCEPT IE scores a perfect 100 on this
– Firefox is faster, I have confirmed this -many- times
– http://crashie.com <– the day that crashes firefox is the day the internet shall die
– Firefox is the most compliant browser with w3c html and xhtml standards out there. Yes w3c, not micro$haft, sets these standards.
regrettably firefox does have numerous negatives as well but since we’re making the focus of this debate a matter of which has more positive points. Don’t give me shit about firefox being shit, give me reasons IE is good. The debate shall continue after you have achieved this.
July 22nd, 2008 at 12:10 am
forgot to add these in there >.> XD
– firefox was THE FIRST browser to support complex .png transparencies
– spellchecker ftw
– tabbed browsing since ‘06
– fast loadup time
– it is the most compatible browser with non-windows OS. I use it fairly often on os x because it supports more than safari, and on linux because it is good (and note not the only available browser with it either)
I await your reply and your reasons that IE is a good browser
July 23rd, 2008 at 2:03 pm
Let me see if what you say about Firefox is true.
If anybody else wants to check it out as well here are the instructions.
Steps to download Firefox
Step 1. Open up Internet Explorer
… I wasn’t able to finish downloading Firefox cause I realized in the first step that I didn’t need to.
July 24th, 2008 at 12:01 am
you haven’t been around the nets long have ya?
firefox is one of the very best browsers out there IE is a bloated tick waiting to pop with every release it becomes les and less stable and LESS COMPATABLE WITH MICROSOFT WEBSITES
NOW HOW THE HELL THAT WORK? XDDDDDDDD
firefox however just simply works
now if all your doing is just going to myspace to talk to little kids and try to see em naked sure go play with ie but if you have any real use for the internets get something stable made by mozilla
July 24th, 2008 at 12:06 am
and you have just forfeited debate. Firefox is not perfect I think we can -all- agree on that, but if you can’t just type in http://getfirefox.com and hit return to download it, then you fail at internets. The key thing about firefox is you dont -need- it but it’s more functional more secure and it IS faster than IE. You don’t -need- it to work but it’s shitloads easier than internet asploder ever will be. M$ set standards, and their newest release of excell didn’t even meet them…kinda says something no?
and I feel I must rebut this:
sh4: – hidden and unnoticable spyware intrusions ## Not with default settings, you fail.
no sir it is you who phails, for with the default settings I used IE once, quite religiously, and then I ran this thing called spybot, which I had run after installing from a disk before ever connecting. It found a few DLL files and IE backdoors. I scanned after about 6 months on the internet with Kaspersky antivirus running. I found well over 600 more results with mention of IE in there, all unique, and another 400+ that did not mention IE. I deleted them all.
THEN…then I discovered the TRUE messiah – FOSS. I swiftly download firefox and used it to download gaim. I was enthralled by this new idea of using tabs, and the absurdly fast page loading, and that I didn’t see a red x or white border anywhere that shouldn’t have one! Another 6 months passed…I ran spybot again…I saw……I SAW…the IE and windows security holes only…that is all…I had gone free and open source with firefox and gaim and I was clean and secure. I went to bed that night…happy…
XDD and I had -not- changed the settings of IE ONCE in that year XDDDD
July 24th, 2008 at 5:14 pm
I love it when people find backdoors with malware like SpyBot.
Sabre, you do a disservice to yourself and the whole Firefox community. If I were a Firefox user I would not want to associate myself with you.
July 24th, 2008 at 10:52 pm
internets. serious business. If you can’t take it then I have a few tools available to aid you in your quest to be an hero.
You still have not given me a reason for Internet Explorer being good.
July 24th, 2008 at 10:59 pm
and if I may just add, were you a firefox user I am quite sure there are many, such as myself who would not wish to associate themselves with you either, based on your responses to perfectly valid points using firefox bashing/micro$hit praise rather than with valid reasoning.
I recommend self-decapitation. Good day to you sir, and good luck with your suicide XDD
July 25th, 2008 at 12:42 am
@Sabre:
You’re such a drama queen.
@Everyone:
I wish people would just grow up and be a man and use Internet Explorer. If Internet Explorer fails for you, maybe it isn’t Internet Explorer that is the failure, maybe it is you.
July 25th, 2008 at 4:07 am
try to use lynx, if you don’t care about visuals …. this tool is smaller and faster than FF
July 25th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
*bows* thank you, thank you so much =D XDD
next time at least try to hold a real debate rather than resort to phail’D insults XD
July 27th, 2008 at 2:20 am
you, idiot… go, fuck yourself
July 30th, 2008 at 9:45 am
no need to …. use IE – debate finished.
August 12th, 2008 at 3:18 pm
what the hell, everyone i know regardless of system has now a crashing firefox. Mine crashes every 1-3 minutes, just closes or crashes and closes. It’s happening to everyone. How could they wreck what was a superb browser. It all went tits up startying around v 2.something, upgraded and it hasnt been stabel sicne, tried everything, uninstall, go back versions, crash crash crash crash.. fucking useless and worst of all mozilla cant admit it and sort this hopeless clusterfuck out!
August 12th, 2008 at 3:20 pm
i dont want to use bloody IE! i HATE ie… thats what cheesing me off btw
August 13th, 2008 at 10:22 am
quote “Firefox is the browser of bitches that complain about their internet experience and slow download speeds on AOL…”
I use Firefox because whenever I open IE, it says there is a fatal error and must be shut down… it’s nothing to do with download speeds. Firefox works, IE doesn’t.
August 21st, 2008 at 10:43 am
Setting the Firefox fanboys aside (while at the same time not condoning Nathan’s one-sided rampage)… and let’s hold an actual comparison. You know Fx will always be the Internet’s cute little underdog, its independent musician, its low-budget film darling (That’s enough syns., Ed.) So I guess we can expect the repugnant variety of cockatoos.
Let’s list my personal experience (and many others, though it doesn’t seem like it. Keep on reading.) I get the freakiest of glitches in Fx. Input URL or search term and press enter.. and at times, Firefox “lies” that the page is done, when NOTHING has been loaded. I’ve heard of cases when Fx couldn’t save people from the real threats (trojans, viruses, turbulent forms of malware), which is why you really need an anti-something software. Download speeds has nothing to do with the browser on the bottom line. Many factors in web browsing doesn’t matter much between browsers. Am I saying IE is “secure”? Or any other browser? Just owning the browser isn’t enough if you’re actually concerned on the state of your precious Facebook-style photos. And yes, most current browsers would have a similar, if not better browsing experience than a stripped-down, extensions-free Fx. No surprise there.
I think that the ones who have a troubling experience with Fx need to F*CKING SPEAK OUT. Do NOT be oppressed by the Fx fanboys. Do not let them harass you, or blame anything else BUT your browser. No matter how small your problem is with Fx, SPEAK OUT. Priests and high seers of Firefoxism/Firefoxnity tend to spurt out ignorant expressions that goes along the lines of “STFU ITS LOW MEMORY YOU B*TCHEAD” or “SABOTAGER!!!”. In most cases, having low memory is a result of resource-hogging from Fx… especially when you buy into their little addons/extensions downloading spree. Remember, individuals contribute separately to the Firefox programming, and with thousands more creating those addons… you can expect some puzzle pieces not fitting with the others. (Ironically, the generic symbol for addons is a puzzle piece… and they’re all identical.)
True supporters of Fx should have a sense of benevolence when assisting frustrated users of the browser. With such a wide spectrum of glitches in this browser, those of us who still have faith in it should work together to change the code altogether. Some Fx security vulnerabilities still remain since its Deer Park days (a symptom of open-source individuality), and it says something when Fx isn’t completely friendly with various media embedding plugins… from suggesting “manual installs” for Shockwave and WMP, or (once they’re installed) either half-loads the embedded page, or loads everything… but refuses to play the content. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is where “IE Tab” comes in. It’s an extension, and it’s INTERNET EXPLORER. Hmm.
http://home.comcast.net/~SupportCD/FirefoxMyths.html
Some details not completely true, but there’s some insightful points in that site. It just shows that behind every Firefox (or every Barack Obama)… there lay the same old practices.
One last thing. Fx did modernize the aspect of a web browser. But now the competition has caught up. And the fanboys are more obvious to spot. You got a problem with Fx? Speak out. It’s better to tarnish its image of a “perfect, fast, and secure” browser than sweep it all under the carpet and curl yourself in a ball under all the aforementioned oppression. Like any OTHER browser out there, it really isn’t what it advertises. Get a good anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-etcetra software, and you’re really set for safe browsing, downloading, the works. Good day.
Oh, and here’s a little surprise. Am I for Firefox? Hell yes. But a big, fat, constructively CRITICAL yes. For IE? Well, it is on-par on some levels, and actually exceeds Fx on others. Yes. Safari? Opera? Yay, and oui. Just forget about the browser wars, or make a big dickery out of it. Just accept that Fx, IE, Safari, and Opera are the Toshiba, Sony, Samsung, and Panasonic of browsers (in particular order). And maybe get on with life for once.
September 19th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
For all of you who still don’t get it: The following link explains everything and makes sure even Internet Explorer users should get the point.
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=M9BON5nd8Fg
Enough said … and to all “Internet Explorer is the best” users: How about a nice big cup of shut the f*** up? Really, please, think before you say something stupid.
September 22nd, 2008 at 3:07 pm
@Charles:
Internet Explorer knows where you live.
September 27th, 2008 at 8:08 am
Internet Explorer knows where Charles lives? I’m afraid not, Nathan … but Microsoft knows everything about YOU and all other Windoze users, no matter which browser they use.
I don’t want to say that IE is crap or firefox rules or childish stuff like that and I don’t want to continue the dull “IE vs. Firefox” battle — I just think that Micr$oft abuses its own authority in some cases.

September 28th, 2008 at 8:58 am
You can try to cover up the truth all you want but the facts remain. IE is superior to FF in every way, shape, and form.
September 30th, 2008 at 2:45 am
nathan i agree with you. IE is superior to FF => in crashing, backdoors and hijacking.
“Using Internet Explorer? There’s a good chance you’re not reading this. A single line of code embedded in this page crashes most versions of IE.” => http://www.crashie.com/
and nathan, do you have a girlfriend (a human female being) or any hobbies or why do you have so much spare time to argue with people which browser is the best although everyone (even 90 years old my grandma) knows that IE is no browser the but worst piece of crap.
ps: don’t waste your “precious time” to make an effort answering my post, i won’t come back to read it … better download the billion critical patches for your browser, you’ll need them.
October 1st, 2008 at 1:48 pm
@Alderon:
That squirrelly little fox like devil named Satan has gotten to you. I will pray for you and your grandma.
People like you that come here to my website know they need help. Why else do people search “antifirefox” on google? I’ll tell you why, because deep down on the inside they know it sucks.
They know that Firefox is a horribly devilish work yet they can’t pull themselves away because they are addicted. Don’t get caught up in the Firefox lie, cleanse yourself of your Firefox sins today. Come back to the truth. IE will accept you back with open arms; like a prodigal son gone wrong in a weary world.
October 10th, 2008 at 6:53 am
hello there!
i’ve read your last answer saying there must be a reason why people search for “firefox sucks” — to be honest i found your page because i was searching for “firefox sucks” to find such a page like this. i love reading all the posts how people argue which browser is better to laugh my ass off about (poor) microsoft addict guys like you.
after reading your last post, i would say, you have a pact with satan himself … microsoft. i don’t care if IE would accept me with open arms (or open security holes or whatever). IE is just a stone-age browser, full of security holes and some cheesy elements microsoft calls “design”.
i have to thank you. thanks to people like you (i guess about 80% of the ppl on the world use IE) there are still hackers who develop tons of viruses and malware for the IE and don’t altercate how to attack the firefox, safari, opera and so on. i know that every browser can be attacked, but IE is the most vulnerable browser (IE is actually no browser, it’s a vulnreability itself).
the way you argue is also very disputable. some quoutes of your answers:
“Internet Explorer knows where you live.” … wow that’s hard … that’s an argument
“IE is superior to FF in every way, shape, and form.” go ahead and read a serious computer magazine please
“I wish people would just grow up and be a man and use Internet Explorer.” after that i just think you’re a 12 years old boy … a real man does not use IE because a real man is smart, what you said was just childish and daft
enough of this! i am happy that i am using an apple with MacOs so this internet explorer piece of crap does not run on my machine (yes i know there was an IE for MacOs, whoever installed that was a f*cking idiot and microsoft luckily also discontinued the IE for mac project because noone wanted it) … thank god.
think forward, think non-microsoft please
October 11th, 2008 at 9:35 pm
You call yourself a mac user and you don’t even use safari? What kind of crooked person are you? Where’s your sense of loyalty? It sounds like it has gone out the door and all that you have left is your false sense of superiority. You, and people like you, need to know that Firefox is a dark cloud of deception that blinds and warps everybody it touches.
October 12th, 2008 at 2:57 am
maybe you should read my post a little more intensively. i did not say that i use firefox on my mac *duh* …
read and think before you type please. thanks.
October 12th, 2008 at 11:49 am
You come here and defend Firefox and expect me to believe you don’t use it? You’re only deceiving yourself!
December 28th, 2008 at 6:38 am
OMG, someone who hates Firefox!
I love you <3
January 16th, 2009 at 1:25 am
So you are another bloody Microsoft fanboy, eh? I mean you don’t even have valid arguments for Internet Explorer.
If Internet Explorer and Firefox are the only two browsers you have tried, why not try Opera? Or are you one of those Microsoft fanboys who are scared of admitting that their browser of choice is the most inferior?
I agree that Firefox isn’t the best browser around either (not after trying out Opera!) but I gotta admit that Internet Exploder is for ignorants.
January 18th, 2009 at 6:09 pm
Don’t pay attention to these lying posts. He is only trying to get comments and visits making a fooly controverse :p
January 18th, 2009 at 6:28 pm
@Marce: I don’t need your comment or your visit. Why would I? I am not out looking to make a quick penny. The only thing I advertise here is the superiority of Internet Explorer.
January 23rd, 2009 at 9:36 pm
I do love my xp machine, and I hate Vista, Windows 7… still up in the air, so I would say that I am not a Microsoft fanboy. However I would say that Firefox is superior to IE for one BIG reason. The browser was built by the people for the people, and anything you ask will be added or a nice add on will be made for you. All the other claims are true about firefox as well, it is widely know to be better, and IE is well known to be shovelware. I am a computer tech of 15 years and IE is the only program that I have seen, on a fresh install, corrupted. I think that we all have reasons that we use what we use, and they both have really great aspects. Let the war begin…
January 25th, 2009 at 6:36 pm
I wasted 15 minutes scrolling thru the posts and not one single logical argument has been put forward as to why IE is better than FF. You started this page almost 3 years ago, and haven’t come up with one point …… Sad.
Time to embrace change and see the light IMO.(of course)
You have not won me over to IE.
February 20th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
Firefox never seems right, nor does i e 8. I feel very happy with i e 7.
March 2nd, 2009 at 5:41 pm
Yeah, Firefox is a pure shit, but IE too.
Heil Opera !
March 4th, 2009 at 1:17 pm
I would rather enter a free whore house with out a condom, than risk surfing the internet with IE. When is the last time that you got an STD (Spyware total domination) with Firefox?
Being a web programmer I have more problems getting IE to conform to standards that Safari and FireFox just do right!
March 17th, 2009 at 2:53 am
I’m actually neutral about this “which browser is the best” and “browser xyz sucks” thing, but IE does not match the term “browser”. In my opinion IE is not a browser, it’s either a mailicious virus, a malware magnet or a trojan horse. Firefox seems to be okay, but I prefer Opera, which definately is a browser, and a good one.
@Sh4 (above):
You think ‘Gill Bates’ sucks at humor? No, he doesn’t and (even more important) he is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Speaking of fanboys, you are a f****** Micro$oft fanboy (just in case you did not realize)! If someone or something sucks, it’s YOU. Oh, and by the way, Micro$oft is the stealing company, not the others (think ob tabbed browsing in IE6) … please if you cannot argue with suggestive arguments, shut the f*** up. THANK YOU.
March 25th, 2009 at 5:08 am
I have tried all browsers named above and can confidently say that the marginal differences between them do not warrant any sort of serious discussion.
Browser snobs really should find something remotely controversial to talk about.
Bar one thing: thanks to all the non-IE browsers, there’s no worldwide STANDARD. Thanks a lot…
March 28th, 2009 at 1:32 am
Hmm I fully agree. Even with Xhtml strict Lierfox still gets it wrong.
I used to be a strong supporter but having to dumb down my web sites due to complications with firefox is a pain in the rear.
Have a look at my website on IE – Perfect then load it on lierfox and bam all over the joint in pages. Having manually download ands install add ons. No streaming unless your genius with coding and specificaly set coding aside for lierfox to undrstand how to you the stream and not download it first OMG. I can do some complicated coding for IE 6/7/8 and get it right then go to lierfox and all screwed up and have completely rewrite the code to make exclusions and tothe point on a website to get it to run good on both OI had to split the main to ask what browser type the user was running to make them click to the right format for thier browser as the auto find fewature once again keeps loading IE code into lierfox. Probably my coding. Anyway enuf of my rant. IE is the future.
April 13th, 2009 at 1:04 pm
As time passes Internet Explorer becomes better and better than Firefox.
The version 7 is shitty, but the version 8 is wonderful.
Firefox becomes shittier and shittier.
The version 3 uses 40MB of RAM and is slow and buggy.
In fact, I find Microsoft’s products better and better, including Windows, if you look at Windows 7 (which’ll be selled soon)
See ya.
Mat’ of France.

Nathan, can you give me 10 reasons founded on factual knowledge that prove IE is better than all other browsers (I don’t particularly care for firefox myself, but I care much less for Internet Explorer)
April 15th, 2009 at 11:12 pm
@Chris: Even if I gave you what you ask for you would still not believe for an evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.

@Chris: Even if I gave you what you ask for you would still not believe for an evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.
Um… Dude, what the fuck are you talking about? You keep saying Firefox is evil and stuff but how and why?
Summarizing all your posts, you are Anti-Firefox because Firefox is “Evil”, yet you F A I L E D to provide even 1 single logical reason to back this up. I mean who would have thought that after 3 years, Nathan still couldn’t figure out a single reason why Firefox is evil?!?! I mean, oh my god! Why do you keep denying reality? Or are you just too dumb to even think of 1 single reason why Firefox is “Evil”?
Anyway, Firefox and Internet Explorer are just browsers for fuck’s sake, there’s no need to take it to a religion level. Okay? Using Firefox doesn’t / won’t bring Satan to you, I mean how do you even know that Satan exists? Because that’s what your cult leader told you? Seriously, you need to check this out… Even though I’d really love to help you, I doubt someone in a cult (you, Natha, yes I’m talking about you, stop denying reality) would actually realize that and could get them self out.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cult
And by the way I didn’t find this page because I thought Firefox sucks and typed that into Google. NO! I was a huge fan of your ExtractNow program, went to your website and found this link at the top of the page.
And no, I won’t hide the fact that I’m using Firefox. I know I might be biased towards Firefox but I wanna remind you one last time that the biggest / main reason that Firefox is soo good is because of it’s addons, the other good stuff of Firefox pales in comparison to its ability to use thousands and thousands of free addons.
Addons such as these…
Adblock Plus (Blocks most form of advertisments, even ones embedded inside a webpage, text, graphic, flash…etc)
FireShot (Great for taking screenshots of websites, which combined with Adblock Plus means screenshots with no ads)
FlashGot (Download YouTube videos with 1 click, batch download of URLs…etc)
Google Preview
GreaseMonkey (In addition to adding addons to firefox, now you can add scripts too, which means you can make Firefox even more powerful now than before)
IE Tab (Some websites don’t conform to the web standards that modern web browsers follow and are specifically designed for IE, now with a click in Firefox you can render the page with IE right inside Firefox’s window / GUI)
WebMail Notifier (Checks multiple Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail accounts for you automatically…etc)
I could go on and on and on but I hope you get the point Nathan. You really helped me a lot with ExtractNow so I was hoping I could do something for you in return, like opening your eyes to reality.
Okay, bye bye.

With Firefox you never know if the build you are going to get is going to leak memory or not. How hard is it for them to test each build by leaving an instance open and checking memory usage over the course of a couple of hours?
April 30th, 2009 at 5:17 pm
Oh and I was referring to 3.0.8. So if you think that Firefox has solved their memory leak issues, they haven’t. Memory leaks always seem to find their way into Firefox builds.

You keep saying Firefox is evil and stuff but how and why?
Firefox-code is at this time (2009) to 1% official written by google-developers. Check the source-files of the release 3.0, for the copyrights. The inoffical stuff we can only imagine.
Firefox is copyright by Mozilla Incl. You can read this on each page.
Hey, don’t mix this with the foundation. The company Mozilla is working in the hardest market in our time. It is a commercial company which is working to make money. Nothing else. It is not a social club (community) or sozial institution, how it seems to be (on their pages). By the way, also Billy-boy has his own foundation(s).
The users of Firefox uses the feature “safe-browsing”! They make firefox to a open book for google. So you can really say the browser is open. Each start of the browser gives google the users IP and the sign, who is online at which time. Check it with “Wireshark”. Even if you didn’t open a page, works this with a little delay. And each click on the close-button gives google the sign, who is offline. Each page the user is visiting, is checked by google first. Called save-browsing. Don’t laught about this, Google knows each page you visit, with your IP and time. Yes, the fan says: if you worried about this, then you can deactivate this feature or better: Also if this is like you saying, technical is firefox …. bla, bla, … This is called repression, an active prozess to hide reality .
when you move your mouse over the Homepage-button-symbol of firefox, it is showing a mozilla adress. (unchangeable for a common user like me.) But when you click on it, what a miracle, you are beeing redirected simple to google.com. Questions? Not only firefox, the user is also captured by google.
Show me a browser who is more open to a commercial giant, as firefox is at this time. Best you use the google-browser chrome. This would be more fair-minded to yourself.
Google pay’s Mozilla millions of dollars. The chief of mozilla is getting half a million for his job a year. Questions? A sozial job he is doing? And google is a sozial …. etc..yes.. Do you believe it? For free only for believers. The commercial side of mozilla is not a worst thing, but don’t ignore this. Firefox is nothing else as a commercial browser, which shows the lack of personal consciousness of there users.
I found no firefox-user who is really interesting to check this for his self. That’s the way of true lies. It needs believers which basically like “glamour-stories” (The “for free” also “sozial community” and “secure because open” stuff)!
And if you like to write or read the facts on wikipedia, you will meet the people of google and mozilla which will erease the facts out of the artikel. Do it, don’t believe me. Do it for yourself. You will see how it ends. There is to much money to earn, with unsecure browsers and
open-minded (means “without a mind”) users .
And there is only one reason on earth these things can happen so obviously. Because of the giant mass will not look to facts, because they don’t like them. You use firefox ?… you did not need a webcam … make a wish and smile … blink… ! All for free …. and most important point of all … spreed the word ! Mozilla and Google like this, believe me: they will love you!
Peace for you all, sleep well !

@nathan:
memory leaks in firefox? possible.
memory leaks in IE? sure.
backdoors in IE? uh-yeah.
exploits in IE? yup, still there.
as andrew already said, you failed giving only one poopy reason why IE should be better than FF, opera or any other browser. i don’t say that i hate IE, as a web designer i have “all common” web browsers installed on my machine. i just don’t feel confident with IE.
@rick:
i haven’t checked what you wrote above, you may be right, but what about IE? IE sends lots of info to microsoft and i think they are able to collect even more data about the users due to the fact that IE is embedded into the windows os.
alas, privacy is a wild goose chase these days.

I was laughing my ass of when I saw the “Get The Internet Explorer 8″ video. I have never seen something more ridiculous than this video before. I would say the girl pukes because she has to use IE on the notebook — who wouldn’t puke in that situation? And, wow, IE now clears your private data on exit! Nice feature, already seen in other browsers around 1996 …. reminds me of “new feature: tabbed browsing” in IE7 …. ridiculous.
I like Firefox, but Opera rules!
July 21st, 2009 at 8:26 am
Okay, I promised myself I wouldn’t wade into yet another war between browser users. Obviously, I’ve failed.
Anyway, if there is one thing that I positively do not agree with, it’s that some websites essentially force you to use Firefox, regardless of whether you want to do so or not. It doesn’t help that Firefox users also try to shove it down your throat (and with a sanctimonious attitude, to boot). In my many years of using IE I have only experienced a serious problem once (which was through no fault of the browser, AKA “pilot error” to borrow from the aviation community). Although I concede that I have never used Firefox (again, mostly because of the smug, condescending attitude) my attitude is “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it”. Another thing I notice is that quite often Firefox users are overzealous, unwilling to take any criticism of their browser while denouncing IE as some sort of malevolent entity. They often resort to insulting users of IE as well. The funny thing is that to me, those who use IE often come off as looking more mature, as they don’t often resort to the low blows that Firefox users do (Of course, I realise the irony of saying this, as I am essentially doing the same thing). I believe that for the average internet user, IE will do just fine. Also, just as a parting shot, it seems that despite the “spell checker” Firefox users tend to be horrible spellers.

IE sucks, i work programing, and some code of .NET is incompatible with IE. firefox works 100%
August 10th, 2009 at 5:33 am
Microsoft sucks, IE sucks and we have to boycott MIcro$oft.
Windows is the most Terrible OS on the world and if you yousing Winsuck you doesn’t have to use this FUCKING Microsucks-Applications, get real browsers like Mozilla, Opera or all so. Microsoft can’t make standards, else it warfe no Standards.
Boycott Windows and get a real os like Linux, BSD or another one.
Microsoft Boycott go go go….

November 9th, 2009 at 10:03 pm
Gotot Urban dictionary.com and serach Internet Explorer and see what you find. Also goto firefoxdownload.com and read that.
So many ways that Firefox is better then IE:
~ Open Source
~ First browser to have tabs
~ First browser to have addons
~ First browser to be able to right-click on embeded videos and download them (this is a new feature with Firefox 3.5, only for .ogg videos only for now.
~ Most Secure Browser
~ Most Customizable Browser
~ Probably the most fastest browser
~ It does everything I want it to do
~ Displays pages no problem
~ Hardly any errors or crashes
~ Hundreds of awesome addons
~ Constantly being improved for the better
~ Bugs are fixed within days
~ Owned by Mozilla which is open source and the best software company ever! They are a community.
~ Since Mozilla Firefox is open source (like all other Mozilla’s products), it is free, Mozilla never spent spent a penny on their browser nor have anyone.
Internet Explorer:
~ Stolen ideas from other browsers (mostly Mozilla Firefox)
~ IE 7.0 tabbed browsing: Firefox had this since the very first release.
~ IE 8.0 Addons: Firefox had this since, probably since the first release.
~ Crashes a lot and get constant errors
~ Doesn’t always display pages correctly
~ Very slow and insecure
~ Takes forever before updates or a new version is out (because it’s not open source)
~ When installing IE, it takes forever (I don’t think any other browser takes that long to install). and requires restart. Firefox installes within a minute and dosen’t require restart.
~ Most times when I open IE, pages never load and I usually have to close it and reopen it a few times.
~ IE is ugly, just look at it.
~ IE annoys me all the time and got the constant (error on page) at the buttom.
~ IE is not up to date, even the latest version is out of date and still requires a lot of work for todays standards.
~ Bugs take months to be fixed becuase it’s not open source, it only depends on the Mocrosoft team to fix them instead of everyone else.
~ Microsoft will never have a community, only customers.
~ Microsoft spends millions of dallors on there browser each time a new release comes, it isn’t even worth close to that, my opinion, it isn’t even worth $50.
November 18th, 2009 at 12:59 pm
wow… you support a browser that has been around, and started as pirated and illegally distributed software that to this day is STILL INCAPABLE of fully supporting CSS, wow…

@Nathan:
I have tried to install IE on Linux, try it yourself, good luck
OK, OK… Firefox on windows is even worse, but because of its fuckin “Microsoft .NET 3.5 Assist” for M$ ClickOnce support. Forgot Firefox and IE!
Get Opera or Seamonkey!!!
AND: Anything that run only on windows is not worthy to exist. Microsoft Harms the hardware industry to give BigMedia the control.

I commend you, Nathan, for you have trolled the epic SHIT out of Mr. Hammy.
For the record, I use firefox, and really dislike anything less than IE8. Why is IE8 so great? It follow standards that FF has been doing since day one. But I will say, IE6 was amazing in the fact that it could pull together the most horrible coding into a semblance of order.
Plus, remember how in IE5 you could skin your brower? Awww yeah.
January 6th, 2010 at 11:23 am
@AnthonyAziz: Thank you, I am glad my life’s work hasn’t gone unnoticed.
January 25th, 2010 at 8:20 am
Nathan, I’m interested in hearing if you still feel this way about Firefox and IE? Things have changed dramatically since you posted this almost four years ago? Have you tried other browsers recently such as Firefox 3.6 or Chrome?
January 27th, 2010 at 2:45 pm
@Richard: Thanks for asking. I do not feel the same. I use Firefox. It has improved a lot and the plug-in support is what initially converted me. User interface response time is critical to me and I feel that Internet Explorer has lost the snappiness that it once had. As for Chrome, it simply isn’t mature enough. I will re-evaluate when IE 9 is delivered, however I don’t have high hopes because of previous mismanagement of the Internet Explorer product. This post was aimed at fanboys. However, I subscribe to the idea that “whatever gets the job done the best” is what I’ll use.

internet explore – Use it if you want a virus ( no matter what you will get one using IE)
