With Netflix you can have more than one movie out at a time. But is it really worth it?

Sure you can get a Netflix plan with 5 movies out at a time, but if Netflix throttles the rate at which you get movies you might actually get the same amount of rentals per month as you would with a 3 movie at a time plan. The only difference would be that you would get 5 at a time instead of 3 at a time. You’d still get the same number of rentals per month. Netflix throttling makes the 5 movies at a time take longer to get to your doorstep than say 3 movies at a time would. The plans that Netflix offers with more movies at time are used to trick people into paying more money for the same service.

The only reason I can see as to why somebody would want to rent more movies at a time would be to save them from having to goto the post office as often.

I wish Blockbuster had a better movie selection and a better website. All they have is sucky movies and low-res graphics on their site.
